WinQVT/Net will give you news/telnet/ftp/lpr/pop mail in one shareware windows
application either standalone (not recommended for gatewaying on air with!) or
using the microsoft tcp/ip winsock package with it. If you have to use
windows 8) then I'd strongly suggest WinQVT/Net as a fine product.
You can apparently do slip [this is second hand info] by using ODI drivers
with the Microsoft stack (ie as if you were a netware client). Then use
ODIPKT and the packet driver collection EtherSLIP driver ...

Ok today i upload to ftp.ucsd.edu the latest wnos sources
In this version there is:
pop2 pop3 clients and servers
TCPAccess
IPAccess
small fixes and improvements
changed the display of the trace window to include
some nice colors so that you can seperate the different
protocols from the normal ax25 traffic
ax25 heard list fixed to show true traffic type IPCAM TCPIP NETROM AX25
etc, Again the code fixes and support is NOT all from me
Thanks to dg1zx dl8yq dl1bke dl6zba and the list in the startup banner
i will compile today some wnos.exe's and upload at the same time.
For local down loads in the U.K Im uploading to ftp.demon.co.uk as well
